Scotchman's Creek Golf Club
has been playing at Malvern Valley Golf Course since 1985. The course is rated a 67 par course for
men of 4999 metres. In 2012 the course was rated by the Victorian Golf League in preparation to the adoption of comparative rating of courses for handicap purposes, Australia wide.
There are three par five holes, seven par four holes
and eight par three holes. The North boundary of the course is Gardiner's
Creek and Scotchman's Creek joins Gardiner's creek virtually separating
the front and back nine holes. Most greens are bunkered and water hazards
in addition to both creeks are found throughout the course.
Scotchman's Creek Golf Club plays competitions on both Tuesday and Fridays. There are a variety of events including Stroke, Stableford, Four-ball Stableford, Chapman Foursomes, Ambrose, Par and Four-ball Par. All 18-hole competitions are played using Australian Golf Link handicaps.
